Treating Egg Allergy at Allergy Associates of La Crosse

"The one thing that I would say and I try to tell everybody that I meet who has kids with food allergies is that we originally started our allergy care at a different medical institution and their whole thought process on allergies was, well, watch and wait.

"When I went to an appointment with her I think she was four and they said well we'll see you in two years and in the meantime they weren't going to do anything, they weren't going to test. I just thought we're missing a critical window here. There's got to be something more that we can do. And you know, we did a little bit of research and we learned about Allergy Associates of La Crosse and so we started here right about when Sam was five and I wish I would have done that sooner.

"We're happy with the progress that we've made so far, but I guess that would be the one thing I would want people to know. It's definitely worth investing your time, energy, and money into because we've seen some good results and we're super hopeful we'll be back here before too long to do another challenge and get her completely free of food allergies."
