Board Certified: National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology graduating Magna Cum Laude from Winona State University, Winona, MN; Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Augsburg University, Minneapolis, MN.
Background: During her Master’s education, Kari’s research was focused on the impact of immunizations which included travel to Managua, Nicaragua, and statistical assessment to limit CT scans and unwarranted radiation. Her previous experience includes providing care in an urgent care setting in a hospital, and working as an EMT. Experience gained from these opportunities aligns with treatment at AAOL, including determining focused testing, evaluating allergy symptoms — including rashes, exacerbated asthma, and infections — and implementing effective treatment plans.
Kari was also awarded with the Guardian Angel Award, recognizing her for making a meaningful difference in a patient’s care. Her experience and dedication to quality patient care is a great fit for AAOL and treating patients using the La Crosse Method Protocol.
