Oven Baked Sweet Plantains

Yields 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 4 very ripe plantains
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450°. Set aside a nonstick cookie sheet covered in cooking spray.
  2. Cut off the ends of the plantains and peel.
  3. Next cut diagonal 1/2 inch thick slices.
  4. Place on the baking sheet in a single layer and coat with cooking spray.
  5. Bake for 10-15 minutes, flipping plantain slices occasionally. Plantains should be golden brown and tender.
