Orange-Carrot Turmeric Ginger Shots
Yields 4 servings
Ingredients
- 3 medium carrots, peeled, cut into 1 inch pieces
- 1 1/2 cups orange juice, fresh
- 1/2 cup coconut water, unsweetened
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice, fresh
- 1 1/2 tsp. fresh ginger, minced
- 1 tsp. fresh turmeric, minced or 1/2 tsp. turmeric, ground
- 1/8 tsp. pepper, ground
Instructions
- Using a high speed blender, combine all of the ingredients together and process until smooth, 1-2 minutes.
- Divide into 4, 6 oz. bottles. Cover and refrigerate, then chill for at least 15 minutes prior to serving.
- If you are having trouble creating a smooth mixture, use a strainer lined with cheesecloth and drain to remove solid pieces.
