Broccoli and Mushrooms in Oyster Sauce
Yields 4 servings
Ingredients
- 1 bunch broccoli, cleaned & trimmed into bite size pieces
- 1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced
- 1 Tbsp. garlic, minced
- 1/4-1/3 cup water or vegetable stock
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 2 Tbsp. Oyster sauce
Instructions
- Heat a wok over high. Add 1 tablespoon oil, when hot add the mushrooms and toss in the oil. When oil is absorbed, add a slash of water and continue to cook, stirring constantly for 3 minutes. Continue to add water or stock when pan is dry.
- Next add the other 1 tablespoon of oil and the broccoli. Toss and cook another 3 minutes or until broccoli is almost tender.
- Lastly add the garlic and half of the oyster sauce, toss, cover and let simmer over medium heat for an additional 2 minutes. Remove from heat and drizzle with the remaining oyster sauce and serve.
