Brussels Sprouts Gratin
Yields 6 servings
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs. Brussels sprouts, ends trimmed and halved
- 2 large shallots, peeled & quartered
- 2 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
- 5 Tbsp. olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
- 3/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup Gruyere, grated
Instructions
- Heat oven to 425°F.
- In a 9x13 baking dish, toss Brussels sprouts, shallots, garlic and 2 tablespoon olive oil. Season with salt and pepper, then bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove from oven, add the heavy cream, grated Gruyere and bread crumbs. Bake an additional 15 minutes or until bubbly then serve.
