Honey Soy Glazed Salmon

Yields 4 servings

  • 12 oz. salmon, skin removed
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • For Marinade:
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp. ginger, minced
  • 1/2 tsp. red pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. red pepper
  • 1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup honey

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together marinade ingredients and set aside.
  2. Put the salmon in a medium bowl. Pour half of the marinade over the salmon and let it marinade in the refrigerator for 30 minutes or more.
  3. Heat a medium skillet over medium heat and add the oil. Add the salmon to the pan, discarding the used marinade. Cook for 2-3 minutes, flip and cook an additional 1-2 minutes or until thoroughly done.
  4. Remove the salmon from the skillet and pour the remaining marinade into the skillet and reduce over medium heat.
  5. Serve the salmon with the remaining sauce and your favorite side dishes.
