Slow Cooker Cabbage Casserole

Serving size: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 onion, large, diced
  • 1/2 large cabbage, chopped
  • 2 medium carrot, shredded
  • 28 oz. can tomatoes, diced
  • 1 6 oz. can tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp. apple cider vinegar or lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. ground mustard
  • 1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp. sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a skillet on the stove top, cook beef until done. Drain fat.
  2. Mix all ingredients together in crock pot. Heat on low for approximately 10 hours. Serve alone, over noodles, rice, or other grains.
