Stovetop Sorghum

Serving size: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 cup whole grain sorghum
  • 4 cups water or stock

Instructions

  1. Rinse the sorghum in running water.
  2. Bring water or stock to a boil in a medium saucepan. Add sorghum, cover, and bring to a boil. Once boiling, reduce heat and simmer for 45 minutes or until tender. Stir occasionally and add more liquid if needed.
  3. Once the water is completely absorbed, remove from heat and fluff with a fork. Use as a base grain for all of your favorite dishes.
