Turmeric Hummus

Serving size: 8 servings


  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/3 cup lemon juice
  • 4 tsp. fresh garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp. paprika
  • Salt & black pepper
  • 2, 15 oz. cans chickpeas, drained with water reserved


  1. In a food processor, combine chickpeas, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, paprika, turmeric and 1/4 cup of chickpea liquid. Pulse for one minute or until smooth. Add more chickpea liquid if a thinner consistency is desired. Serve with vegetables or pita bread.
