Honey Soy Glazed Salmon
Yields 4 servings
Ingredients
- 12 oz. salmon, skin removed
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- For Marinade:
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 tsp. ginger, minced
- 1/2 tsp. red pepper
- 1/2 tsp. red pepper
- 1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
- 1/3 cup honey
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together marinade ingredients and set aside.
- Put the salmon in a medium bowl. Pour half of the marinade over the salmon and let it marinade in the refrigerator for 30 minutes or more.
- Heat a medium skillet over medium heat and add the oil. Add the salmon to the pan, discarding the used marinade. Cook for 2-3 minutes, flip and cook an additional 1-2 minutes or until thoroughly done.
- Remove the salmon from the skillet and pour the remaining marinade into the skillet and reduce over medium heat.
- Serve the salmon with the remaining sauce and your favorite side dishes.
